You might see that the SSD temperature reaches 80°c and that writing speed drops by almost 50% after 15 or 20 minutes while copying large files.
Copying voluminous data for more than 10 minutes with a high load is comparable to a stress test, during which the SSD consumes more energy, leading to a rise in SSD temperature and it triggers thermal throttling.
