A black smudge residue is seen on the surface of where the Dell monitor stand was placed.
If a strong cleaning solvent containing alcohol is used on the surface prior to placing the monitor stand down. The monitors stand rubber feet are not resistant to alcohol content, this causes the rubber feet to fade and transfer to the surface.
