RPAs in reboot regulation causing DRU Assertion from storage logs (/home/kos/storage) CreateNetwork::convertNetmaskIpToCidr: errno=0 Assertion failed: cidrIter != conversionMap.end() Line 643 File CreateNetwork.cc PID: 1707 Info: Conversion failed, invalid netmask given
When using DHCP for data IPs the system try to access the netmask for internal calculation before sending an address request to the DHCP. This causes an assertion in the storage process.
Workaround: Change data port configuration to static IP using boxmgmt menu (perform this in every RPA) and then reattached the RPA to the cluster as per example below: ** Main Menu **[1] Installation[2] Setup[3] Diagnostics[4] Cluster operations[5] Shutdown / Reboot operations[6] System management CLI[Q] Quitlab11 RPA 1: 2** Setup **[1] Modify settings[2] Configure repository volume[3] Get remote settings[4] Retrieve previous settings[5] Apply settings[6] View settings[7] Reset settings changes[8] Advanced options[9] Console configuration[M] Main Menu[B] Back[Q] Quitlab11 RPA 1: 1** Modify settings **[1] Enter cluster lab11 details[2] Number of IQNs per RPA[3] MTU configuration[M] Main Menu[B] Back[Q] Quitlab11 RPA 1: 1** Enter cluster lab11 details **[1] General cluster details[2] Connectivity settings[3] iSCSI Configuration[4] Configure ETH auto-negotiation[M] Main Menu[B] Back[Q] Quitlab11 RPA 1: 2** Connectivity settings **[1] Network configuration wizard[2] LAN IP details[3] WAN IP details[4] iSCSI IP Details[5] Gateways configuration[M] Main Menu[B] Back[Q] Quitlab11 RPA 1: 4RPA 1 :1.
