You may notice the Dell Universal receiver control panel User Interface (UI) software appears small on a 4K or 5K screen. The small software windows has instruction on monitor after opening the downloaded file from Dell support website. These instructions could be hard to read. The software was not updated to be able to view comfortably on higher resolution monitor or display. It is only suitable for Full HD 1080p or lower resolution screens.
Use Dell Peripheral Manager Use Dell Peripheral Manager to achieve the same function. Dell Peripheral Manager Pairing a Device You can pair additional devices to the dongle through RF using Dell Peripheral Manager. The application also provides on-screen instructions for pairing additional devices to your computer through Bluetooth. The on-screen instructions provide simple procedures for pairing the new device providing both RF and Bluetooth options. See Figure 2 [English Only] and Figure 3 [English Only]. Figure 4: Dell Peripheral Manager Pair a Device [English Only] Dell Peripheral Manager Unpairing a Device The Unpair Device dialog box appears when you click UNPAIR DEVICE (see Figure 5 [English Only]). Figure 5: Dell Peripheral Manager Unpair a Device CAUTION: The device will be no longer usable after unpairing. You need an additional device to pair with an input device again. Ensure that a backup mouse or other device such as touchscreen or track pad is available. When there are no Dell devices connected, the Dell Peripheral Manager window is displayed as shown in Figure 6 [English Only]. Figure 6: Dell Peripheral Manager No Device Found
