In the Discovery Manager thick client, using “Search All Matter Folders” check box on a collect search shows folders which are out of scope for the matter. This behavior only occurs in the thick client and does not occur in the web client. This behavior makes it hard to determine which folders the search ran against.Example: A new matter is created, and in the properties for the matter, a subset of mapped folders is selected. For this example there are four folders available: Folder1, Folder2, Folder3, and Folder4. Only Folder1 and Folder2 are selected within the Matter. A Collection Search is created, and the box “Search All Matter Folders" is selected. For this search, only Folder1 and Folder2 are in that scope based on the matter properties. If a search is run, the content is collected against only Folder1 and Folder2. If the properties of the Collection search are viewed, it shows all folders, Folder1, Folder2, Folder3, and Folder4 selected, but in an unavailable state.
