The shutdown is triggered by iDRAC as the critical temperature alert action was set to 'Power Off'. The System Inlet Temperature will not proactively shut down the system.
The recommended setting is ' No Action '. The setting can be changed using UI or racadm . UI: Configuration > System Settings > Alert Configuration > Alerts > Alert Configuration > "Enclosure Temp Probe" or "Temperature" racadm : racadm eventfilters set -c idrac.alert.system.tmp.critical -a none -n ipmi, snmp
