When a firmware update is successful, a computer displays the following message in the BIOS event log: "Firmware update is successful" However, Dell Pro Slim QCS1255 may display "No Events" instead. Affected Platforms: Dell Pro Slim QCS1255
This is a BIOS coding issue.
Note: Before starting the update, perform the following: Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery.Ensure that power remains connected to the desktop. Updating the BIOS to version 1.7.1 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the BIOS, refer to the BIOS Update Guide.
