Cannot add Avamar to BRM. When adding Avamar to BRM 1.2, the command returns nothing and becomes unresponsive. On the BRM appliance in the rabbitmq logs report the following error messages: (Log location: /var/log/rabbitmq/rabbit@brm-*.log ) =INFO REPORT==== 8-Apr-2015::08:48:35 === accepting AMQP connection <0.23218.5> (10.x.x.XX:59413 -> 10.x.x.XX:5671)=ERROR REPORT==== 8-Apr-2015::08:48:40 === error on AMQP connection <0.23210.5>: {ssl_upgrade_error,timeout} (unknown POSIX error)
There is an unresponsive rabbitmq service on the Backup and Recovery Manager appliance or the rabbitmq-server service is not running on the Avamar Utility Node.
1. Log in to Avamar Utility Node as admin. 2. Elevate to root privilege. 3. Run the following command to check if rabbitmq is running: service rabbitmq-server status If the service is not running, restart the rabbitmq-server with following command: service rabbitmq-server start If this does not correct the issue, Create a Service Request for further assistance.
