Customer made changes to the AppSync linked replica through SYMCLI commands directly to the VMAX Array. The unlink and terminate commands being executed manually caused this issue.
Interim Resolution:A solution exists for this issue, but intervention from EMC technical support personnel is required. Contact the EMC Customer Support Center or your service representative for technical assistance and quote this article ID. Engineering has provided a hot fix for AppSync version 3.8.0.0.Resolution:AppSync Engineering is currently addressing this problem, but has not provided a fix in a released patch.This solution will be updated with the patch when it has been released.
