Symptom

A WLC controller could face an unexpected reboot generating a system report on the device with a core files that needs to be analyzed by TAC to dermine the root cause of this issue. On de system report you can find a core file generated from the process WNCD RP_0_wncd_XXXX_YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS-.core.gz

Conditions

This string can be found on the core files. %MCP_SYS-0-ASSERTION_FAILED: R0/0: wncd: Assertion failed: Assertion failed: The first incident of this failure was detected on the release 17.15.3 over a 9800-80 Switch but this could affect different platforms
