Symptom

On 17.12.3 release with EFP configuration on port-channel LLDP discovery won't work. As per config guide L2protocols must be enabled on untagged service instance in order to peer with adjacent devices : interface Port-channel2 mtu 4440 no ip address load-interval 30 storm-control broadcast level 65.00 storm-control multicast level 65.00 storm-control action trap spanning-tree bpdufilter enable service instance 1 ethernet encapsulation untagged >>> EFP untagged l2protocol peer cdp lldp lacp >>> LLDP Enabled here bridge-domain 10

Conditions

RSP3 running Release 17.2.2a or 17.12.3 with "l2protocol peer lldp" command on untagged service instance.

Workaround

We tested that differently from configuration guide indications, all l2protocols will work if the untagged interface is not configured at all.
