Symptom

- On N7k-1, a SUP switchover is performed, and the Standby SUP becomes active. For now, no packet loss is observed. - Approximately after 5 minutes, the previous Active SUP will become HA Standby. No packet loss is observed. - After 5 minutes, packet loss becomes apparent. - Issue is recreated in recommended release (8.4(8)) as well. - Recursive Next-hop is pointing to Null0 in broken state. - Observing stale entry deletion logs in UFDM.

Nexus 7700 with F3 line cards and SUP2E

Workaround

Remove and re-add the static route configured on the switch for RNH(Recursive Next-hop)
