After upgrading of NCS5500 router from 7.5.2 to 7.9.2 GigabitEthernet interface did not come up
upgrading NCS5500 router from 7.5.2 to 7.9.2 along with GLT optics
The following workaround might help to restore the issue:- AN remove and configure again SFP OIR or SWAP
This issue occurs because AN config comes first before port programming and port stays down. Suppose port programming comes first and then AN request comes , AN will not configure from phy but port will remains UP because port is already programmed. RCA: GLC-T optics should not react on the AN config from PHY side it is done at NPU end. During speed negotiation also phy is in retimer mode.
