Symptom

In "show processes memory platform sorted" the RSS counter for linux_iosd-imag process increases over time. However, in "show processes memory sorted" there's no corresponding memory usage increase observed. In the output of "show processes memory platform accounting" the top callsite is related to linux_iosd-imag_rp_0 process. Conditions

This leak was observed on IOSXE devices with SNMP configured. So far the affected devices have been running IOSXE 17.9.3a or newer software version.

Workaround

Disable SNMP on the device until IOS-XE upgrade to the fixed version can be performed.
