Symptom

Cisco DNA Center's Inventory page shows "Internal Error" and when clicking on the error shows, "NCIM12024: All information from the device could not be collected successfully or the inventory collection for this device has not yet started."

Conditions

This was observed in Cisco DNA Center 2.3.3.7 while managing a WLC running IOS-XE 17.9.3.

Workaround

Make sure the switch is not filtering the "port-id" TLV from the CDP messages sent to the AP.
