Description

Symptom

HTTP traffic and FTP (passive mode) traffic passing through 100 tunnels. When traffic is initiated, the 3100 box crashes instantly in Thread Name: CP Processing.

Conditions

High CPU and also Based on patterns in multiple core files, we see that the Contril plane processing takes additional cycles and existing process suspend logic is taking higher interval into consideration and can end up in crash.

Workaround

With High cpu observed, would be better to reduce the load on the CP , by rate limiting the traffic
