When creating a snmp-server host entry, the SNMPv3 user variable does not restrict special characters, such as the backslash character ("\"). This causes the GUI of the SNMP page (on the 9800 controller for example) to be stuck in loading state and therefore prevent user to configure the device further using the GUI.

There are 2 workarounds found for this issue : 1. Reloading the device deletes all entries with a special character ("\") and fixes the issue 2. Removing the entries created before : a) Remove the SNMP group entry created by the snmp-server group command, using an escape character. For example : no snmp-server group TEST\\ v3 auth b) Remove the SNMP host entry, which is however not visible in the configuration. To do this, the original command that was used to create the entry needs to preceded by "no" and the faulty name should not include the special character. Example : no snmp-server host A.B.C.D version 3 TEST (note the missing "\").
