Symptom
We can not perform Firmware upgrade on Telit LM960A18 and FN980 modems.
Conditions
We can not perform Firmware upgrade on Telit LM960A18 and FN980 modems using IOS CLI.
Workaround
We have qc_trace_collector tool built for arm64 and x86_64 based platforms, through which we can upgrade modules. For those EN/IOT routers which has dual modules, we need to power off the one module and perform firmware upgrade, then need to perform other.
Further Problem Description
After integrating new fw-uploader-1.0.0.32 tool provided by telit, firmware upgrade procedure for Telit LM960A18 and Telit FN980 polaris_based platforms was broken. This is due to introduction of new mechanism to handle dual modem scenario where Cisco uses "cwan_netmap" driver instead of GobiNet driver.
