Description

Symptom

Coherent_driver process can crash on doing line card reload or MPA reload. This is an intermittent crash and doesn't have any impact on functionality.

Conditions

This crash will be seen on Potenza mod LC(NC55-MOD-A-S and variants) or Peyto with any MPA which has CFP2 ports and the laser is ON. Note that crash will not be seen if laser is not ON.

Workaround

This is an intermittent crash which is not seen on all reloads, it doesn't have any functionality impact. So, there is no work around required. IF any work around is required, laser can be turned off by doing shut on optics controller and then the MPA reload / LC reload can be performed.

Further Problem Description

The reproducibility is around 1/30 trials.
