In a Nexus 5624, Nexus 5648 or Nexus 5672-16G, certain third party branded cables are not recognized. Nexus5624Q# show int ethernet 1/2/1 transceiver Ethernet1/2/1 transceiver is present

Conditions

Third party 40G to 10G breakout cables used in Nexus 5624, Nexus 5648 or Nexus 5672-16G

Workaround

None. The cables do come up fine and pass traffic. This issue is a transceiver detection problem.
