Release-note
pce_server process crashes due to out-of-memory (the memory limit for pce_server is 8 GB on XRV9K)
All of the below conditions must be satisfied in order to lead to this issue: - Large topology (10K nodes, 100K links) - Non-IGP metric type used for LSPs - The LSP paths must have a high number of hops between the source and the destination - There must be a substantial amount of unique sources used by the LSPs
Some of the workarounds might include: - Reducing the topology size known by a single PCE, and utilizing multiple PCEs each with its own smaller topology - Reducing the number of unique LSP sources maintained by a single PCE; e.g. multiple PCEs each maintaining a small number of unique LSP sources - Using IGP metric instead of other metric types, if possible - Using other computation methods (e.g. utilizing based flex-algo computation for non-IGP metric types)
