Symptom
This is an enhancement request to add support for Cat9k switches to process EAPoL frames with 802.Q tags.
Currently Cat9k switches are only able to process untagged EAPoL frames.
Some 3rd party devices [such as Panasonic phones] add 802.1Q tag to all frames, including EAPoL frames which causes interoperability issues when connected to Cat9k switches.
Conditions
3rd party devices sending EAPoL frames with 802.1Q tag are connected to Cat9k switches
Workaround
make configuration changes on 3rd party devices so that EAPoL frames are transmitted without 802.1Q header
