Symptom

Guest user connect to central web authenticated network using iPhone or iPad and gets redirected to the portal automatically using the pseudo browser. User logs in and gets "400 Bad Request" error instead of the success page. End user may see the success page for an instant before getting the bad request. The end user will have access to the guest network after this but this error may cause confusion.

Conditions

No captive bypass on WLC. Self Registered or Sponsored portals. No Post-Access Banner page in use. Potentially any iOS code affected.

Workaround

Enable Post-Access Banner page in the guest portal. Use a redirect URL instead of the success page which can take the user to any site such as the company's website.
