Split DNS not working in case of TCP query coming on WAN interface and destined to LAN interface (on IOS)
- DNS view-group is configured on the outside interface - TCP queries sent from outside and destined to the inside (LAN) interface are not inspected by the DNS view-list
No workaround
- both TCP/UDP queries destined to the (outside) interface where the "ip dns view-group" is configured are inspected - UDP queries destined to the inside interface (LAN) are inspected as expected by the Split DNS configuration
