Description

Symptom

A router will reload when issueing the command 'show track' and we have track object for serial sub-interface we have deleted from the configuration.

Conditions

There have to be a Serial subinterface configured and a track object referencing the serial subinterface. For example: interface Serial0/1/0:0 no ip address encapsulation frame-relay IETF interface Serial0/1/0:0.10 point-to-point track 10 interface Serial0/1/0:0.10 line-protocol When deleting the subinterface and issueing the 'show track' command the router will reload. The issue is not seen on tracking objects for Ethernet sub-interfaces.

Workaround

Check if the command 'show run| i track' will show a similar output track 10 interface line-protocol If yes, delete this track object before executing the 'show track' command.
