Symptom

With ASR-920-24SZ-IM there are 12 Gig ports that are available to be used without license by default, the range is: g0/0/0-g0/0/11. To be able to use the other ports range g0/0/12-g0/0/23 a license should be installed. The issue is seen with 12x1GEupgradelicense only. After 12x1GEupgradelicense installation the ports range starting from g0/0/15 to g0/0/23 cannot be unshut and used. Only 3 ports : g0/0/12, g0/0/13 and g0/0/14 can be unshut and used.

Conditions

With 12x1GEupgradelicense license only.

Workaround

Workaround 1: Choose ports range g0/0/0-23, then shut and unshut the ports range. Workaround 2: Reload the unit
