Symptom
Cat9300 failing to boot with the below logs:
Mainboard hardware authentication failed. Abort init ...
Conditions
Seen issue when a Cat9300 is reloaded using,
1. reload command
2. part of upgrade
3. power cycle
Workaround
If running an older release like 16.3 or 16.6 pease open a TAC case and check if the box can be recovered. Issue is fixed in all 16.9.x/16.10.x/16.11.x/16.12.x releases.
