In SDA network a host is communicating with another host that can roam; communication temporarily suspended (no packet exchange between hosts); and the roaming host has roamed more than once then communication between hosts may not be able to resume (traffic is lost).
- SDA fabric - host is roaming so that mobility map-cache entries are created - after host roamed multiple times mobility map-cache entries point to old host location (where it used to be connected in the past but no more) By itself this is a normal situation that requires redirection notifications (so called SMR) to update stale map-cache entries. The issue is that map-cache entries created by mobility notification do not accept redirection notifications.
Manually clear stale map-cache entry.
