Symptom

"ip address dhcp" command may disappear from running configuration along with message: %IP-4-CLASS: Bad IP address and mask 0.0.0.0/32 in class_resolve()

Conditions

1. There is another interface of the same router (in up/up) state connected to the same Layer2 domain; the interface may or may not have ip-address configured. 2. DHCP T1/T2 timer is triggered and client is refreshing the lease.

Workaround

Remove additional interface from the same Layer2 domain.
