The customer may see the following message from the admin plane" 0/RP0/ADMIN0:Jan 4 06:49:14.153 : pm[2806]: %INFRA-Process_Manager-3-PROCESS_RESTART : Process tams (IID: 0) restarted
If the customer has previously downgrade from a 6.5.1 or later image to a pre-6.5.1 image and then upgraded again to 6.5.1, they may see this. Further verification can be done here: from the admin plane: type "run" # cd /misc/scratch # cat calvados_log_tams_x_y.out (where x and y may be equal) If the above file contains "CRYPTO_INTEGRITY_FAIL, this is a good indication of the problem.
from the admin plane: type "run" # rm -rf /misc/swtam/* (on some routers, if /misc/config/swtam also exists, you must also perform the following: rm -rf /misc/config/swtam ) then reload the router
The SWTAM in the admin plane uses a different format to store its information. Upgrading from a pre-6.5.1 release to a 6.5.1 release or later will work because release 6.5.1 knows how to convert to the 6.5.1 format. However, when downgrading, the pre-6.5.1 release does not know the 6.5.1 format.
