Symptom
SNMP traps related to mpls vpn are not configurable:
(config)# snmp-server enable traps mpls vpn
Conditions
Nexus 7000 running 6.2 release or higher, and feature bgp is not enabled&running.
Workaround
feature bgp must be enabled in order to be able to configure the mpls vpn snmp traps.
Further Problem Description
In releases prior to 6.2, it was enough to enable the mpls ldp/l3vpn features in order to be able to enable the "mpls vpn" snmp traps.
Starting from 6.2 and higher, the bgp feature should be enabled and running in order to be able to enable the "mpls vpn" snmp traps, given that BGP is mandatory for the operation of L3VPN feature.
