Symptom

The routes in VRF that are send via DHCP do not get installed on the RIB after reload. The DHCP is normally working but only when a reboot is executed on the router. If the router is configured with two VRF´s routes using DHCP, after the reload only the first one is installed and the second one never appears in DHCP.

Conditions

Router configured with VRF DHCP for example with the following configuration: ip vrf A ip vrf B ip route vrf A 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.255 dhcp ip route vrf B 2.2.2.2 255.255.255.255 dhcp interface FastEthernet0 ip vrf forwarding A ip address dhcp interface GigabitEthernet8 ip vrf forwarding B ip address dhcp

Workaround

This setup only works when you apply a fresh configuration from the beginning. The workaround is to remove the configuration of the routes and then reapplied them again.
