Symptom
When trying to use the Embedded Packet Capture feature it will not work on a subinterface of a port-channel in IOS-XE. When trying to use the subinterface of a port-channel the following message will be returned:
Currently sub-interfaces on Port-Channel is not supported
Conditions
An IOS-XE router configured with a port-channel divided into subinterfaces.
Further Problem Description
When trying to use EPC on a port-channel with subinterfaces the subinterface must be used to capture the packets, but it does not work. The EPC config will accept the physical interface or the port-channel itself, but no traffic will be captured.
