Enhancement,which introduces a priv exec mode CLI that would forcefully clear any stuck auth sessions as a workaround: # clear { authentication | access-session} mac forced
These were hit on access/distribution Catalyst switching platform like Cat3850 (releases 15.0(1)EZ, 15.2(2)E1), Cat 2960x (releases like 15.2(2)E2). Following are few of DDTS/cases which mandated this CLI: CSCum17258 EPM_SESS_ERR: Error in activating feature (EPM ACL PLUG-IN) CSCur26195 Cannot clear authorization session on IOS-XE switch stack CSCuq76356 Authentication session not cleared after supplicant disconnects and few more like these.

This CLI makes sure the auth sessions are forcefully cleared, in case if its stuck in any of these above said states where a normal 'clear auth sessions' CLI or shutting the interface or plugging out cables wouldn't help.
