Symptom

On a nexus 7000 series switch, ISIS Neighbor with network type point-to-point configured mode of operation is not coming up between NX-OS and IOS or IOS-XR, it's coming up with another platform running NX-OS.

Conditions

The issue is seen only with F2 modules, or F2E is the vdc module-type resource include F2.

Workaround

- Use broadcast mode of operation - If only F2E modules exist in the vdc, remove f2 modules from the list of allowed modules with limit-resource module-type cli.
