Running show commands cause vty / console session to hang and will not return to prompt.
This issue is seen in Sup7E, Sup7L-E or 4500-X running IOS-XE release. Issue is applicable to 15.x E and SG releases.
None. "clear vty " may help to clear the hung VTY sessions. Access the device via unused VTY session or Console, and try the above-mentioned command.
This issue should not interfere with traffic passing through the switch.
