Reseat the Appropriate Toner Cartridge. Remove the Cartridge : While the printer is powered on,open the toner cover, located just above the front cover. Place a few sheets of paper on the floor before removing the cartridge This will allow any excess Toner to fall on the paper. Grasp the toner cartridge handle on the end of the cartridge Pull the cartridge partially out of the printer until the handle on top is available To remove the toner cartridge fully, hold it by the front and top handles while gently sliding out the cartridge Ensure that you keep the cartridge level while you slide it out of the printer. Re-install the cartridge: Gently shake the cartridge back and forth about 10 times while holding a towel over the ends of the cartridge to avoid spillage. CAUTION: Do not use warm water or cleaning solvents to remove toner from your skin or clothing This will set the toner and make it difficult to remove If any toner gets on your skin or clothing, use a brush to remove the toner, or wash it off with cold water and mild soap. Never used a vacuum cleaner to remove spilled toner Sparks inside the vacuum cleaner can cause a fire or explosion To removed spilled toner, use a broom, brush, or a cloth moistened with a neutral detergent. Grasp the Toner Cartridge handle and push the cartridge into the printer. Raise the Front Door into the closed position. Dispose of the paper that was placed on the floor.
