Overview
IMPORTANT:
Xerox recommends that you change the default system administrator password after you configure the printer
Be sure to store the password in a secure location.
Note:
Depending on when the device was manufactured or the software version installed, the default administrator password may be the device serial number or 11111.
To maintain security, change the Administrator password after the initial log in.
Tip:
Use numbers only for creating your new password
Alpha characters (letters and other characters, such as !*& are not allowed)
A maximum of twelve numbers can be entered for your password.

For security reasons, only asterisks are displayed on the screen.
Click
Log In
from the Control Center and log in as the administrator.
Select the
Administration
button.
From the
System Settings
window, select the
User Interface
tab, and then select
Change Password
.

The old (current) password.
The new password.
Re-enter the new password in the
Confirm New Password
area.
