The air assist profile controls blower settings in the HCVF You can create a new profile or modify an existing profile You can test changes to blower settings before you save a profile. Note: Before you adjust the air assist profile, ensure that the media loaded in the HCVF adheres to the Paper and Media Guidelines for the HCVF. For information about the blower location and settings, refer to Location of the Air Assist Blowers in the High Capacity XLS Vacuum Feeder (HCVF). To adjust the air assist profile, do the following: At the home screen, select Profiles . In the Profiles window, select Air Assist . In the Air Assist area, do one of the following. To create a new profile, select New . To modify an existing air assist profile, select a named profile, then select Edit . To create a new profile, select New . To modify an existing air assist profile, select a named profile, then select Edit . In the Air Assist Setup window, select VCF Settings . In the VCF Settings window, you can adjust the settings for each blower in the HCVF Make adjustments according to the recommended troubleshooting instructions only. To reset blower settings to system defaults, select Apply System Defaults . To test an adjustment, select Test Print Before you save your changes, you can run a test print. To save the profile, select OK . To return to the home screen, close the Profiles window.
