When printing from an application that has it's own paper tray settings (Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, etc), it is important that the desired tray is selected If the application is set to auto select a tray, it will have to pick a tray to send your job to Normally, the application would look to the driver to find out which tray has the paper needed for the job, and then send it to that tray. If the driver is not able to tell the application what is loaded in the machine, (because of a configuration issue or other unforseen problem) the application will pick a tray at random If the tray that the application selected is not loaded with the correct paper, the job will be held for resources To resolve this: Select the File menu from within the application. Select Print . Look for the paper tray settings and choose the desired tray. Select the Properties button to bring up the driver. Make sure that the desired paper tray is selected here as well. Print your job.
