Overview

NOTE : In order for the Xerox Multifunction Device (MFD) to check for available funds prior to making copies, the MFD must be configured for Job Based Accounting to  Pre-Authorization and Capture Usage However, there is a constraint in Job Based Accounting where Build Job is disabled (grayed out) when you have Copy Jobs set to Pre-Authorization and Capture Usage Therefore, you cannot use Build Job if Copy Jobs is set to Pre-Authorization and Capture Usage And if you have Copy Jobs set to Capture Usage only, Build Job will work, but users may be able to copy jobs without available funds. Access CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) as the System Administrator. Select Properties . Select Login / Permissions / Accounting . Select Accounting Methods . Select Accounting Workflow . Select Edit . Select Copy Jobs . Select Capture Usage . Select Pre-Authorization and Capture Usage . Select Save .
