The following are the top reasons why paper jams occur: Try the following: Note: The VersaLink C9000 Bypass Tray supports extra heavyweight media (up to 350 gsm); however, some types of extra heavyweight media may cause a reduced level of feeding performance If repeated jams occur, try using a different brand of paper or slightly less weighted media. If the problem persists, contact Support for additional assistance. unsupported paper/media is used. incorrect paper settings in the tray and/or the print driver. paper loaded incorrectly and/or paper edge guides not adjusted properly in the tray. humidity and/or paper condition and storage. Clear the Jam in the Bypass Tray. Clean the Bypass Tray Feed Rollers. Make sure the paper being used in the bypass tray is within Specifications.
