Make Sure the SMTP Server Settings are Configured Correctly

Disable Dual Stack IP Mode and Set to IPv4

Enable or Disable Dual Stack IP Mode from the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
Make Sure the DNS Server Addresses are Correctly Configured into the Device.
Change Allow Less Secure Apps to On when Scanning to Gmail

Make Sure the Date & Time is Set Correctly.
Power the Printer On or Off.
Perform a Telnet Test on the SMTP Server.
Update the Printer's Software (Firmware).
