This error is caused by a security certificate not being renewed after it has expired on System Software Levels below 37.31.81. Note: If the software level is 37.51.01 or higher then troubleshoot the issue using the solutions below: Upgrade your printer to the latest Software General Release For more details refer to Update the Printer Software (Firmware) or see the Related Content for a link to the Drivers and Downloads page. Make Sure the Network is Connected. If you are using a Wired Network Connetcion: Connect the Printer to a Wired Network. Reseat the Ethernet (Network) Cable. Connect the Printer to a Wired Network. Reseat the Ethernet (Network) Cable. If you are using a Wireless Network Connection: Configure Wi-Fi Direct. Connect to a Wireless Network. Configure Wi-Fi Direct. Connect to a Wireless Network. Ensure that DNS is Configured Check that the Date and Time is set properly on the device Power the Printer Off and Then On Again. If the problem persists, contact Support for additional assistance.
