Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and Internet Protocol (IP) are protocols within the Internet Protocol Suite IP manages the transmission of messages from computer to computer while TCP manages the actual end-to-end connections. Type the static IP address using the touch-screen keypad, then touch Save . Touch IPv4 - Subnet Mask , then touch Change Settings . Type the subnet mask using the touch-screen keypad, then touch Save . Touch IPv4 - Gateway Address , then touch Change Settings . Type the gateway mask using the touch-screen keypad, then touch Save . Touch Close . At the control panel, press the Machine Status button, then touch the Tools tab. Touch Connectivity & Network Setup > Protocol Settings . Touch TCP/IP - Network Settings , then touch Change Settings . Touch IPv6 Address Manual Configuration , then touch Change Settings . Touch Enabled , then touch Save . Touch Manually Configured IPv6 Address , then touch Change Settings . Type the static IP address using the touch-screen keypad, then touch Save . Touch Manually Configured IPv6 Address Prefix , then touch Change Settings . Type the prefix using the touch-screen keypad, and touch Save . Touch Manually Configured IPv6 Address Gateway , then touch Change Settings . Type the gateway using the touch-screen keypad, then touch Save . Touch Close . At the control panel, press the Machine Status button, then touch the Tools tab. Touch System Settings > Connectivity & Network Setup > Protocol Settings . Touch TCP/IP - Network Settings , then touch Change Settings . Touch IPv4 - IP Address Resolution , then touch Change Settings . Touch DHCP , BOOTP , or DHCP/AutoIP , then touch Save . Touch Close . At the control panel, press the Machine Status button, then touch the Tools tab. Touch System Settings > Connectivity & Network Setup > Protocol Settings . Touch TCP/IP - Network Settings , then touch Change Settings . Touch IPv6 Address Manual Configuration , then touch Change Settings . Touch Disabled , then touch Save . Touch Automatically Configured IPv6 Address , then touch Change Settings to see the acquired IPv6 address information. Touch Close . At the control panel, press the Machine Status button, then touch the Tools tab. Touch System Settings Connectivity & Network Setup Protocol Settings . Touch TCP/IP - Network Settings , then touch Change Settings . Touch IPv4 DNS Server Setup , or IPv6 DNS Server Setup , then touch Change Settings . Do one of the following: To allow your DHCP server to provide the DNS server address, touch Get IP Address from DHCP , then touch Change Settings On the Get IP Address from DHCP screen, touch Enabled , then touch Save . To manually provide the DNS server address, touch Preferred DNS Server IP Address then touch Change Settings Type the DNS server address, then touch Save . To allow your DHCP server to provide the DNS server address, touch Get IP Address from DHCP , then touch Change Settings On the Get IP Address from DHCP screen, touch Enabled , then touch Save . To manually provide the DNS server address, touch Preferred DNS Server IP Address then touch Change Settings Type the DNS server address, then touch Save . Touch Close .
