Overview

You can scan a document and send the scanned data as an email attachment This option scans a document, converts the data to TIFF, JPEG, PDF, PDF/A, or XPS (XML Paper specification), then sends the scanned data as an email attachment. Note: The Mail Delivery Notification (MDN) and Split Send features on the File Format screen are available only when using the email feature. At the control panel, press the Services Home button. Touch Email . To specify one or more recipients, select one or both options: To add a recipient, touch New Recipient , type the new recipient email address, touch Add , then touch Close . To search for and specify recipients, touch Address Book , select an email address, select To , Cc , or Bcc , then touch Close . To add a recipient, touch New Recipient , type the new recipient email address, touch Add , then touch Close . To search for and specify recipients, touch Address Book , select an email address, select To , Cc , or Bcc , then touch Close . To add the device as a recipient, touch Add Me . To remove or change a recipient: Select the applicable recipient. From the menu, touch Remove or Edit . Select the applicable recipient. From the menu, touch Remove or Edit . To add or change the email subject, touch Subject , edit the text, then touch Save . To add or change the email message, touch Message , edit the text, then touch Save . Set the various scan features, as needed. Select the Advanced Settings tab, then set and save the advanced settings. Select the Layout Adjustment tab, then set and save the layout adjustments. Select the Email Options tab, then set and save the email options. Select the Advanced Settings tab, then set and save the advanced settings. Select the Layout Adjustment tab, then set and save the layout adjustments. Select the Email Options tab, then set and save the email options. Press the Start button.
