Overview

The Supplies Plan Activation Code sets the Supplies Plan the device will use.  It is only entered when the device is first installed.  If issues with the Supplies Plan are encountered after the initial device install, use the Plan Conversion Code to correct the issue.   Note : The activation code depends on the sequence code, which is based on the Supplies Plan Number Anyone who creates the activation code needs to know the Supplies Plan Number. Note : You don't need to be logged in as System Administrator to get the Supplies Plan Number or to enter the Supplies Plan Number To get the Supplies Plan Number from the Control Panel follow these steps: Device > Tools > Device Settings > Supplies > Supplies plan number .  To enter the Supplies Plan Activation Code:  Enter the Supplies activation code via EWS   Login as System Administrator at the Control Panel.  Refer to  Access and Login or Logout as System Administrator at the Control Panel or Embedded Web Server (EWS). Touch  Device. Touch  Tools . Touch  Device   Settings  then  Supplies . Touch  Enter Supplies Plan Activation Code . Enter the activation code. Touch  OK . Logout of Administrator mode.  Refer to  Access and Login or Logout as System Administrator at the Control Panel or Embedded Web Server (EWS). Open a web browser enter the IP address of the printer in the Address bar, and then press Enter The Embedded Web Services page displays. Click on the Properties tab . If prompted, log in as the system administrator. Note: The default user is admin (case sensitive) the default administrator password may be the device serial number or 1111. Click on General Setup > Supplies Plan Activation Code. Enter the supplies plan activation code. Click Apply A “Properties have been successfully modified” message will be displayed. Click OK. Click on Logout to logout of EWS. Close the browser window. Restart (Reboot) the Printer
