Use the Auto Background Suppression setting to reduce the sensitivity of the printer to variations in light background colors. Follow the instructions for the App/ Feature being used.   NOTE :  The instructions are for an individual job.  Once the job completes, the default settings will be applied to the next job.                             Touch Copy . Touch Show Additional Features . Touch Automatic Background Suppression . To enable, touch Automatic Background Suppression to display the check mark To disable, ensure the check mark is not displayed. Touch Start . Touch ID Card Copy . Touch Automatic Background Suppression . To enable, touch Automatic Background Suppression to display the check mark To disable, ensure the check mark is not displayed. Touch Scan Front The document is scanned. Flip the card over then touch Scan Back . Touch Email . Select how you will email (Manual, Address Book). Touch Show Additional Features . Touch Automatic Background Suppression . To enable, touch Automatic Background Suppression to display the check mark To disable, ensure the check mark is not displayed. Touch Send . Touch Workflow Scan . Touch Automatic Background Suppression . To enable, touch Automatic Background Suppression to display the check mark To disable, ensure the check mark is not displayed. Touch Scan . Touch Scan To . Select the required Scan To option. Touch Show Additional Features . Touch Automatic Background Suppression . To enable, touch Automatic Background Suppression to display the check mark To disable, ensure the check mark is not displayed. Touch Scan . Touch Fax . Select how you will fax (Manual, Address Book). Touch Show Additional Features . Touch Automatic Background Suppression . To enable, touch Automatic Background Suppression to display the check mark To disable, ensure the check mark is not displayed. Touch Send .
