On Mac OS Clients running Horizon 7 or Horizon 8 client versions the mouse stops working when connected to the VDI Desktop.
To highlight a known issue and offer a method to get the Mouse working again in the Horizon VDI for Mac OS Clients
There were security changes within Apple Computers to choose which applications should control the computer. Horizon VDI desktop should not control the local Client.
The mouse will not function in the Horizon VDI.
To resolve this issue on your Mac go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility. Click the pad lock icon to make changes. Uncheck the box for VMware Horizon Client.
