Requirements
This hotfix adds limited compatibility with VMware Cloud Director 10.5 for backup and restore functionalities to Veeam Backup & Replication 12.
Before installing this hotfix, please confirm that you are running Veeam Backup & Replication 12 P20230718. You can check the installed build number in the Veeam Backup & Replication Console's Main Menu (≡) under Help > About.
Resolved Issues
A backup server fails to connect to a server running VMware Cloud Director 10.5 with the error:
This VMware Cloud Director server does not support SDK of the following versions
Known Issues
Cloud Director CDP failback to a different location fails with the error:
Failed to execute task for VM Id
Veeam Plug-in for VMware Cloud Director does not support Cloud Director 10.5, even with the compatibility patch installed.
Deployment Information
Verify that Veeam Backup & Replication is running build 12.0.0.1420 P20230718.
Ensure no active tasks are occurring.
Close the Veeam Backup & Replication Console.
Execute the Hotfix Installer on the Veeam Backup Server.
